Hoosier Exterminators win Premiere Volleyball League championship in SLC

The Hoosier Exterminators won the Premier Volleyball League division at the USA Volleyball Adult Open Championships in Salt Lake City, Utah. They defeated the second seeded Iowa Ice 25-19, 19-25, 25-19, 25-18 in the national championship match to win the title and claim the $ 10,000 first place prize.

The Exterminators advanced to the title match with a semi-final win over Team North Texas by winning the first two sets 25-17 and 25-16 before a thrilling third set where they were down 22-17 and 24-21 but came back to win 28-26. Their event match record was a perfect 8-0 while dropping only five sets along the way.

The Premiere Volleyball League (PVL) is a grassroots effort in conjunction with USA Volleyball and their affiliated regions to launch indoor professional competition in the United States. The Hoosier Exterminators are sponsored by local affiliate Hoosier Region Volleyball.
